This is a building game. I made the game in a workshop "purposeful games" at MIT, Massachusetts, USA. The workshop was cooperation between Shenker College of Engineering and Design and the MIT game lab. The team was me as an art & game designer, Unity tech art. Michal Skurnik - game and level design, Mickey Hoz- programming, and sound & Erwin Hilton - programming.
Shaky shack is a building game set in the dump yard, where all of our unwanted belongings become someone else's treasure. The game shows the experiences of the dumplings, helpless creatures who rolled into life in the junkyard. During the game, the player needs to build a shelter that will help the dumplings to survive in the Junkyard. As in real life, the dumplings expand and need more than a basic shelter and reach for a permanent HOME.
